Youth Sunday
This year's is a very strange Youth Sunday. Instead of little kids chasing down parishioners in greeting at the church door and then guiding them to their pews, we will all be home gathered around our computers. Even as we are grateful for St. Zoom Church, the hustle and bustle and excitement of the day will be sorely missed.
We are hoping lots of children and youth and their families will join the 10 am Zoom Morning Prayer. The first part of it will be dedicated to them in particular. We also have a number of high school and college grads this year and want to recognize them too: Cat Annerl, Marco Calderone, Matthew Kiper, Sterling Solomon. Emily Faller, recent graduate of Franklin & Marshall College, will be our homilist.
We also want to make a poster filled with artwork produced during these days of being home and apart from friends. If your child would like to donate a picture, please drop it off in an envelope in the church mailbox (it’s on the parking lot near the entry walkway) or mail it this week to Susan Caldwell, SMAA, 3233 Pacific View Dr., Corona del Mar, CA 92625, so we receive it by Friday.
There will be no zoom Sunday School at 11 & 11:30.
