Tuesday Night at Mike's BCP Series
Tuesdays at 7:00 pm
When the crafters of the Book of Common Prayer (BCP) set out to assemble an accessible guide to prayer and liturgy they were also intentional about putting together a resource that could shape disciples for a lifetime.
Tuesday Night at Mike's begins an eight-part exploration of the BCP starting Tuesday, November 10, 2020. By the end of the series, participants will know more than ever about the Book of Common Prayer. They will know who wrote it, and when, and why. They will know the history of the creeds most central to the prayer book. They will learn how the prayer book incorporates scripture. They will even learn how to sing it!
Most importantly, the series equips participants with simple, useful practices that help develop a rich spiritual life centered on liturgy. This Prayer Book series is brought to us by ChurchNext and Bexley Seabury Federation, an Episcopal center for learning and development.
