Stewardship Campaign Update
Thank you to the households who have leaned into the spiritual discipline of pledging for 2021. Your generosity of spirit ensures that the mission and ministry of Saint Michael’s will continue to thrive as we move into a new year. What I see in your abundant offerings is the belief that this place matters, your relationship with God and with one another matters, this community which strives to deepen faith and keep people connected, truly matters. Thank you.
As of December 2, 2020, we have received 70 pledges for 2021. This includes 11 new pledges which is an exciting and reaffirming blessing. But we are 20 pledges behind from this time last year. Our work is not yet complete and the vestry needs your participation. The uncertainty of these COVID times will make budgeting for 2021 difficult. Your pledge is the easiest way to let our congregational leadership know how much financial support Saint Michael’s can plan for next year.
It is my hope that this note lets you know how things are going and encourages those who have simply forgotten or have been putting it off to go ahead and send in that pledge card or pledge online. I am thankful for each and every one of you and the care you show this church and one another.
