2020's Christmas Star
The Star of Bethlehem, or Christmas Star, appears in the nativity story of the Gospel of Matthew. One positive happening in 2020 is what astronomer's are calling the Great Conjunction or Christmas Star, on Monday evening 12/21. The last time Saturn and Jupiter, the largest planets in our solar system, orbited this closely, the year was 1226! The best view of the two planets coming into near-alignment will be during the hour just after sunset in the southwestern sky.
