| ACTION (AIDS Care Teams In Our Neighborhoods) | For over 12 years, this organization has created and nurtured communities of care (Care Teams). The Care Teams provide practical, emotional, and spritual support for people living with HIV/AIDS and who are isolated or neglected. This support is provided regardless of sex, age, race, culture, sexual orientation, or religious preference. Enrich the life of someone living with this life-challenging illness. |

| Card Shop | Help select and stock greeting cards for the card kiosk whose proceeds go to support Canterbury Irvine, the Episcopal Ministry at the University of California, Irvine. | Ellis Jordan and/or Roy Symonds |
| Chalice Bearer (Lay Eucharistic Minister) | Serve the Sacrament to communicants during the Eucharist. Certification by the Diocese requires additional training in this parish. You will serve once or twice a month at one Sunday worship service. | Choir | Sing in the Saint Michael & All Angels Choir under the direction of the Minister of Music. Rehearsal Thursday evenings for a 1.5 hours and a warm-up before 10 a.m. Sunday worship. | To Be Announced |
| Café Miguel Host/Hostess | Set up, prepare, serve and clean up coffee service following each worship service on Sunday. Requires about two hours per week once a month. | Beth Bianchi |

| Mission Commission | Mission Commission works to raise awareness and funding for a number of different ministries that feed the poor, care for the sick and disabled, and clothe and educate those less fortunate than ourselves. Ministries that we support each year include Children of the Americas, Loaves and Fishes, AIDS Care Teams in Our Neighborhood, Free Wheelchair Mission, Reverend Orma Mavimbela and her Care Points in Swazilands, United Thank Offering, etc. For more information, see the Mission Commission web page. | Larry Spang |

| Praying Our Goodbyes | During the holidays the Praying our Goodbyes ministry sponsors a Eucharist of comfort and hope for those who have suffered a painful or still unresolved loss: any event that’s causing grief, such as a death in the family, divorce, a career set-back, the end of a relationship or the loss of a beloved animal companion. A spiritually-oriented, professionally led support group is offered when there is sufficient need. Friday Evening Prayer includes remembrance of those who have died. | Joan Wilcox 949.721.1273 |
| Publications Volunteer |
Assist with publication, preparation and delivery of printed material. Can involve folding, addressing, stamping and bulk mail organization.Requires about three to four hours per month. Mailing For the Love of Mike is the major project, but there are others. |

| Usher | Prepare the church for worship, distribute bulletins to worshipers, help with seating, pass and present the offering baskets, monitor the flow of communicants, count the attendance and secure the church after services. Ushers are scheduled for one service per month. |
